Age access and teen safety
SoLoFit supports athletes age 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and it does not yet provide the parent-managed consent and child-data controls required for that audience.
Access by age group
| Age | Access | Experience |
|---|---|---|
| Under 13 | Blocked | SoLoFit does not currently support account setup. |
| 13 to 17 | Supported teen experience | Running, lifting, recovery, plans, meal plans, food logging, Wear OS, and general nutrition guidance remain available. |
| 18+ | Supported adult experience | The full general-wellness training and nutrition experience is available, subject to plan and rollout controls. |
Birthdate is optional. If you enter one, SoLoFit checks it against your selected age group. Age eligibility is required before setup can be completed or skipped.
Teen nutrition protections
Teen profiles can choose full nutrient, macro-focused, or meal-and-habit tracking and can choose whether consumed calorie information is visible. SoLoFit keeps these choices separate from adult target generation.
For teen profiles, SoLoFit does not provide:
- automated calorie or macronutrient targets;
- weight-loss, weight-gain, or body-composition objectives;
- weight, waist, or body-composition logging;
- supplement, caffeine, or alcohol tracking;
- body-weight-based fueling or caffeine plans;
- adult adaptive energy tools or human-coach target proposals.
Meal planning can still use hard restrictions, preferences, variety, cooking equipment, preparation time, household needs, and budget. Numeric food details may be shown when the athlete selects a numeric tracking style, but they are not turned into an adult calorie target.
Parent or guardian expectations
Anyone below the age of legal majority should use SoLoFit with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Purchases also require the appropriate adult authorization and remain subject to the purchase controls of the payment provider and device family.
General wellness boundary
SoLoFit does not diagnose, treat disease, or provide pediatric medical nutrition. Teens who need individualized nutrition or weight guidance should involve a parent or guardian and a pediatrician or qualified sports dietitian.
