Share with a human coach
Human coaching uses a private, athlete-controlled relationship. A coach does not receive broad access to the athlete's account. Each sensitive area requires an active grant, and the athlete can pause or revoke access.
Availability
Human coaching and Nutrition coaching require the appropriate account access and rollout. The AI Coach is a separate product surface.
Invitation and grants
The athlete controls the coaching relationship from the supported Nutrition or coaching settings. Permissions are independent and can cover areas such as journal entries, private photos, targets, plans, measurements, hydration, comments, or proposals.
Only grant the information the coach needs for the agreed work. Review every permission before activating an invitation.
What a coach can do
With the required active grant, a coach can review the permitted athlete information, comment, prepare reminders, and create a proposal. The service checks the current grant and revision on each new read or mutation.
A coach cannot use a nutrition grant to access raw routes, provider credentials, Health Connect records, AI secrets, or unrelated private AI Coach conversations.
Review a proposal
- Open the proposal from the athlete Action Center or coaching area.
- Confirm that it is labeled as a human-coach proposal.
- Review the proposed target or plan change and the reason.
- Accept, edit and accept, or decline.
- Review the updated state after the decision.
Nothing changes before the athlete confirms it. Supported accepted changes can be undone inside the available revision window.
Pause or revoke access
Use the grant controls to pause or revoke the relationship. Revocation blocks new server reads immediately. It cannot recall data a coach was already authorized to download, so grant only what you intend to share.
Teen profiles cannot grant human-coach access to adult nutrition targets, body measurements, the combined hydration and supplement scope, or target proposals.
